‘Ellesmere’ is the new single of Molosser, this duo is always capable of creating wonderful songs and here we go with another gem.
A beautiful, fascinating and intimate song.
The guitar offers a mysterious arpeggio that intrigues the listener from the very first notes. A very long intro that manages to transport you into a magic atmosphere, in my opinion perfectly described by the images of the video.
Nature that takes over human weakness, this is what the frames seem to say.
The singer’s voice suddenly comes in and with an unstable and passionate interpretation that makes this song wonderfully intriguing.
In some passages, the melodic construction reminded me of Radiohead.
Another great song from this talented band!

Ellesmere Island is the final track on MOLOSSER’s debut album Appear, which was released in May this year. An album with nine A-sides, each track is graced with an official music video that also bears MOLOSSER’s trademark of drawing up subtle stories and vistas with simple means. The video for Ellesmere Island is no exception as it catches and complements the mood of the song in the typical MOLOSSER way.
