E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Reverend James Elmore Jenkins

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Reverend James Elmore Jenkins. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the atmosphere that his music is able to recreate.

As soon as I hit the play button my mind began to travel and I saw myself on a deserted road in the middle of a boundless land in the middle of America.

I felt like a renegade running away from the police. I felt the wind in my hair and I breathed freedom.

I felt life flowing in my blood, I tasted the adrenaline on my palate and I spat out the dust.

The music of this artist has distant roots and brings with it the American history of the Pioneers and the great adventures of the past, where the only hope was God.

A sound that manages to fill the heart and soul by recounting intimate moments of real life.

The production is crude but effective and in my opinion perfect for the genre.

Add this artist’s music to your playlists, it is worth it!

Side B is Reverend James Elmore Jenkins’s Ep Out Now!
