Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Emergency. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the energy of their music.
This Band offers a very original sound.
A way of composing music that reminded me of the style of the late 80s, a fast-paced rhythm that keeps you glued to the speakers from the first to the last second.
The overall sound, however, has nuances that manage to make it modern.
The melodic structure and the chord progression are very well thought out and these continuous variations make it very pleasant to listen to this music that is never boring.
A band that spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such an enviable sound understanding.
A beautiful rock without strings attached, direct and sincere that I recommend to everyone.

Emergency is a London-based Alt Rock band, consisting of lead singer, guitarist and songwriter, Jake McCollum, his brother, Lucas, on drums and James Katz on bass guitar. We are heavily influenced by Nothing But Thieves, Muse, Two Door Cinema Club and Green Day.
We like to think this is reflected in our own sound, which tends to center around energetic, catchy melodies and crunching riffs.
