Empire is Culture Shock!’s Single Out Now
The compositional style of this band made me think of the 90s. A sound that manages to mix alternative with grunge.
You can feel that Culture Shock! have a great passion for music and that the fire of Rock flows in their blood.
The production is still a bit rough but these guys have just recently released their first single and even if their artistic career is only at the beginning they show, in my opinion, that they have great talent and artistic vision.
In fact, the chord progression is not obvious and banal, and the back-and-forth between voice and drums is brilliant. For sure there are solid foundations for building a very interesting musical project here.
The singer’s voice is perfect for the genre and musical alchemy that Culture Shock! have managed to create it is enviable.
A band to keep under the radar as these guys produce very cool tunes.

Empire is Culture Shock!’s Single Out Now
This is the second single off of our upcoming (and also unannounced EP). Empire is one of the first songs we finished writing as a band in 2021. It’s about the feeling of living in a society that caters to people not like us, and how we can’t let ourselves show how scared of the future we are. Doing this rock band thing as a group of teenagers holds so much uncertainty as to where it takes us, especially with a couple of us being made fun of for trying to follow this path in life.
