Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Everything But The Everything. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I was fascinated by their sound.
The twilight sound of this duo immediately made me travel with my imagination.
I took my “Noir” car and I wandered in the streets of New York in an atmosphere that reminded me of Blade Runner.
A music that although is influenced by bands of the past manages to be modern and gives me futuristic sensations.
Innovative and modern music that fascinates for the nostalgia and instability that it manages to create.
I didn’t ask myself many questions while listening to Denials, the new single from Everything But The Everything, I let myself be transported into their sonic universe and I let myself be guided as Virgil did with Dance in the divine comedy.
A great band for sure!

Tobias Hawkins used to play in Counting Crows and Primus drummer Tim Alexander’s band Laundry. Andrew Gomez used to play with Jason Newsted’s band Echo Brain. Andrew now plays with San Francisco beloved NRVS LVRS. Landon plays drums with Spirit Mother. Producer Rex Sherverton played in Vue which was signed to Subpop Records and a major label. Izzy The Gent played in the dance electro pop band The Frail.
