our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Fires. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I instantly liked the epic sound of their songs.
We are faced with a band with clear ideas on how to propose its sound to the general public.
This music is fantastic and the melodic construction is impeccable.
An epic sound, strong and melodic at the same time.
The heavy guitars push accompanied by a dry and precise drums able to emphasize even more the energy of these songs.
The fires also do not disdain the use of grooves and more electronic instruments that give the general sound a more modern taste distinguishing it from the rock of the early 2000s.
The melodies are captivating and the addition of choirs make them even more magical.
A band of sure talent that brings in its sound the ancient power of the traditions of Ireland.

The EP is a six-song collection, and the culmination of three years of writing, demoing and recording. The project contains previous singles “Forgotten Sons,” “All For This,” and “Dream” along with three brand new tracks.
The EP is energetic and guitar-heavy, with well-crafted songs, high attention to detail and creative composition. While punky and driving, the songs are also reflective and spacey, complete with emotive strings, synths and engaging voice-overs.
