Flicking The Bees is Electric High’s Single Out Now

Good Day Noir Family,
My addiction to this band continues. Every once in a while you need to get a dose of Electric High.

Flicking The Bees is Electric High’s Single Out Now

Each of their songs has an intricate dynamic construction, with Alice in Chains-esque choruses.

Maybe I’m wrong but it almost feels like the tune was recorded with all the band members in the same room. The reverb on the drums makes you feel right there with them.

A song full of arrangements, guitars intertwining with many voices, and the screams at the end lead you toward a hysterical finale.

My girlfriend and I started dancing to the notes of this song.

It remains a mystery to me how Electric High tunes are not yet famous around the world. Their music is not banal and it is radiophonic and original. The production is always perfect.

I repeat once again Electric High is one of the best rock bands on the world stage today.

Seven Wonders is Electric High’s Single Out Now

This swaggering rock ’n’ stroller came out of the usual collab between Electric High’s most active songwriters, PV Staff and Marius Mørch. The idea was to create an Electric High song that would stand in contrast to the band’s many more upbeat past releases. The band collectively tapped into the idea and created a track that builds in intensity throughout, from a pretty light-headed, easy-going start, to ending in a quite frantic vibe, with the characteristic screaming from the two lead singers, PV Staff and Olav Iversen.

The lyrics pretty much bring across the message that if your keep on flicking the bees, they will eventually get back at you and sting you fiercely. It’s gonna hurt. So don’t act stupid. Stop wasting time on silly stuff. Do good. Be cool. And you’ll be alright.
