E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Foiled.
Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Foiled. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I was intrigued by their music.
I immediately liked the atmosphere created by the music of this band.
A sound that takes its cue from the past but manages to be modern at the same time. The production is a bit rough but in my opinion, it makes their sound even more sincere and direct.
You feel the passion these guys put into playing their music. Although Foiled. have recently started their musical journey together, the musical chemistry that they have managed to create is truly enviable.
I liked the vocal timbre of the singer a lot, in some moments his way of interpreting the lyrics reminded me of Adam Duritz of Counting Crows.
All the songs on the Ep “Feels Like Yesterday” are interesting because these guys have a clear and solid musical vision that already distinguishes their way of making music.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Foiled. are: Tim McCormack – Vocals/Guitar Quintin Wilkerson – Bass Guitar/Backing vocals Brian Bagrov – Drums/Percussion/Keys The band is inspired by Indie/Alternative bands such as Boston Manor, Homesafe, Title Fight, and Basement. Each member pulls influences from his background and respective genre, like Midwest Emo, Post Hardcore, and even Metal and Electronic.
