E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Fool Saint

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Fool Saint. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the atmosphere created by their music.

The sound of this band immediately intrigued me from the first seconds.

The singer’s voice with her warm and solid timbre stirred deep emotion in my soul and made me believe in the words of the lyrics.

The general sound is very good, you can feel that these guys have spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such an enviable sound understanding.

The chord progression is never predictable and banal and the attention to every little harmonic nuance is almost maniacal.

Fool Saint are good musicians and compose refined music that stays in your head for a long time. A band to keep under the radar because these guys have a bright future ahead of them.

A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone!

Refined and Magical!

From their inception, this Jersey City, NJ collective understood the power of utilizing collaboration. Formed in 2020, Fool Saint aims to ignite societal introspection and conversation through frontwoman Sara Bruno’s psychedelic story-telling, the contrasting, yet complimentary guitar styles of Austin Lipinski (ex: Gatherers) and Christian Berrigan (ex: Gatherers ), Michael Doyle’s smooth and groove-driven basslines, and the energetic approach to rhythm from drummer Kyle Meehan.

The quintet wrote, recorded, and digitally released three singles in 2021, all of which were recorded at Timber Studios in Bayonne, NJ. These three singles, unofficially titled “The Timber Session”, showcases the group’s collective influences from Stephen Sonheim to Deftones.
