The tribal drums ignite like the roar of an awakening giant, their relentless beat summoning you into the heart of an epic post-apocalyptic battle.

The rhythmic chant of “Eh Eh” pulsates like a throbbing vein, demanding participation, urging you to join the charge against oblivion.

This isn’t a world for the faint of heart. The song’s atmosphere is thick with the grit of survival and a palpable tension.

Soaring chord progressions paint a desolate sky, while industrial undercurrents hint at the remnants of a fallen civilization.

But amidst the chaos, a beacon of hope emerges. The vocals, ethereal yet grounded, slice through the darkness with unwavering resolve.

They’re the voice of resistance, a stark contrast to the mechanical coldness of the surrounding world. This dynamic push-pull keeps you captivated, perpetually teetering between despair and defiance.

“Forward, And / Or Dust” is a cinematic experience. It’s the soundtrack to a blockbuster waiting to be filmed, a video game quest begging to be played.

So buckle up, raise your weapon (or your voice), and join The Silence Industry.

“Forward, and/or Dust!” is the 2nd in a series of digital 7-inch releases from The Silence Industry. The initial musical idea behind the track was to travel back in time to the synthpop roots before “The Silence Industry”, but as things got rolling, the song took on a life of its own. The result is a stomping and percussive affair, layered with distorted bass and buzzing guitar leads.

The Silence Industry was founded in early 2007. and consists primarily of Graham Jackson, and others who wish to work with him on music at a given time. Since then, the project has released around a dozen EPs and albums in a raw DIY outpouring, never compromising in the name of convention.
