our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Fox Fagan. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the atmosphere of his music.
A very interesting style is the one proposed by this eclectic artist.
His new single Gotta Get Out is an Alternative rock song that manages to create different types of emotions. In some moments you feel relaxed listening, and bands like The Beatles come to mind, and in others the atmosphere becomes more sinister and mysterious.
This instability is in my opinion the charming secret of the music proposed by this talented artist.
The chord progression is never banal and obvious and manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
The vocal interpretation is convincing and you believe the words sung in the lyrics.

Fox Fagan, originally from Portsmouth, UK, is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter who lived in Melbourne, Australia before moving to Los Angeles. Fagan is a member of Teleskopes, the critically acclaimed Los Angeles-based “shoe-gazing space rock” group whose “expansive sound… abides the old saying ‘go big or go home.'” (Buzzbands LA.) “Gotta Get Out” is his first solo single, and has been featured on radio stations including Hawaii’s KMNO.
