our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Freaky Farm. I discovered this Duo while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their compositional style.
The modern and experimental sound of this duo immediately intrigued me.
Music capable of creating a twilight and sometimes sinister atmosphere, while listening to their new single ‘Coupled Spins’ I felt chased in a pine forest on a full moon night. I found refuge in the fog and managed to save myself.
Surely this duo is not afraid to experiment and to follow sound paths never walked before.
The maniacal sound research and the attention to every detail make this music refined and unique.

Born in the shade of a fairytale toadstool, in a clearing redolent of sabbaths and cradled by soft mosses and fragrant bark, their eyes gazing skywards as if awaiting a visitor from afar, Christian Schwarz and Marco Kohler, a.k.a Freaky Farm are two elves who favour music images, videograms, verse and prose as a channel through which to manifest their presence. As they seek spontaneously to find their own slot in the perpetual motion of existence, Freaky Farm reads and interprets the movements of nature in its entirety. Observing its eternal mutations seen through the prism of a droplet of dew, they reach out to new lands in their search for their own life manifesto.
