Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Guerilla State. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the modern approach of their music.
The thing that prompted me to write a review about this band was the innovative sound.
Music that manages to mix electronic sound elements with traditional instruments in a very smart way.
In some moments this music reminded me of the darkwave genre and in others of Depeche Mode mixed with Cold Play.
I was fascinated by the melodies and atmospheres that the music of this band manages to transfer to the listener.
Futuristic songs that also look to the past, sounds with long roots that draw on various musical genres.
An eclectic band that likes to experiment and that surely managed to create a unique and immediately recognizable sound.
The singer’s voice with its particular timbre helps to make even more original the general sound of this talented band.
Autonomy: Part One is Guerilla State’s Ep Out Now!
