Good Day Noir Family,
I already reviewed Karl Bertrand in the past but this talented artist is back with a new cool album and I want to share my opinion about it.

Holdin On | Tappin Out is Karl Bertrand’s Album Out Now

I must say that this album is beautiful.

The thing I like best about Karl Bertrand’s compositional style is his sincerity. Music that takes inspiration from traditional American music. That sound from the Appalachian mountains that then spread throughout America.

While listening to these beautiful songs I entered a cathartic state and began to travel with my imagination.

These tunes take you back in time and make you think of artists like Bob Dylan or Simon & Garfunkel. The somewhat psychedelic overtones add a ‘Woodstickian’ halo to Holdin On | Tappin Out.

It is evident that the experience on the road has inspired many of these songs. In fact, these atmospheres make you feel free.

Artists like Karl Bertrand are important to the world especially today when productions are based only on computers and beats.

Luckily there is still someone who uses real instruments to create heartfelt emotions.
