E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Horacio Bort

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Horacio Bort. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the atmosphere of their music.

What beautiful music, capable of transferring tranquility and serenity.

Sweet and ethereal melodies accompanied by a warm and welcoming voice that with a fascinating interpretation manages to reach the soul and the heart.

I really liked the production and the mix, essential and perfect for this genre.

Minimalist music but that has all the sound elements in the right place and the arrangements only fill where needed.

The beautiful chord progression with unexpected variations manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.

The mix leaves the right space for each sound element and the song breathes well.

A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Una Mitad is Horacio Bort’s Single Out Now!

Refined and Nostalgic!

“Una Mitad” is the new single by the young Valencian songwriter Horacio Bort, which has just been released on April 15, 2021.
The band is formed by: Noah John Young in charge of production and guitars soloists, Germán Rubio on drums, Honor Witke in charge of choirs and basses, and lastly, Horacio Bort on acoustic guitar, vocals and main composer.

In the summer of 2020, the band released their first EP titled “Cometa H” with a very calm Indie Folk style and composed of five organic songs with melancholic tints.
This time they decide to bet on a style that, staying within the margins from Indie Folk, it has more force, more distortion and perhaps a bit of rage.
“Una Mitad” is also a step forward, it shows solidity and decision in the band procedure.
