E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – ibbi Too Vicious

Good Day, Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to ibbi Too Vicious. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I like his unique way of composing music.

The compositional style of this artist intrigued me from the very first seconds.

A sound that takes its cue from the past, in some passages it reminded me of The Cure obviously in a more modern key.

ibbi Too Vicious managed to mix together very different sound ingredients which however coexist in a perfect balance.

The chord progression is never predictable and banal and the production is excellent, especially the mix that leaves the right space for each sound element and the song breathes well.

This guy is very talented and was able, although still very young, to find his own voice and his own music.

An artist to keep under the radar because ibbi Too Vicious has a bright future ahead of him.

Modern and Catchy!

ibbi Too Vicious (Ibrahim Munir) is a Pakistani-American singer-songwriter who is bringing rock back to the main stage. ibbi has been writing songs since 2017, and started putting out music at the end of 2020 while he was cooped up during the pandemic. ibbi released his first single, Sybarite Tendencies, in March 2021. The explosive debut received heavy fan acclaim and coverage from both local and international blogs.

His second single, Amethyst Skies, received airplay on the Cincy Underground Radio and saw him explore a different musical direction.  ibbi is heavily inspired by Steve Jobs, Young Thug, The Beatles, and Jaden. He looks up to those who have defied industry and synthesized something completely new with their resources and channels that same energy into his musical efforts.
