our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Idle Dream. I discovered this Duo while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their refined style.
The atmosphere created by the music of this duo is beautiful.
A fascinating pop-rock, very catchy that manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
The chord progression is never predictable and banal and manages to amaze with interesting harmonic ideas.
The production is very good and the sounds are modern. A Duo with a bright future ahead of them as they offer a very popular genre nowadays.
The voice with its sweet and warm tone adds the right magic to the sound and you let yourself be carried away by these beautiful melodies.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Idle Dream is a Dublin based duo, comprising of Connor McCabe (Vocals) and Chris McGrath (Guitar). Originally formed by Chris, the band has gone through a few lineup changes over the years. In January 2020, Connor joined the band, giving it a renowned purpose and energy.
In March 2020, saw the release of the single “A Matter Of The Heart”. Since then, like the rest of the world plans had to be placed on hold. In the meantime, the band has written and recorded songs and now we’re excited to release “The First Time”, our brand new single.
