I’m Not Sorry Is Darrian Gerard New Single Out Now

Good Day Noir Family,
I already reviewed Darrian Gerard but she is out now with a new single and I want to share my opinion about it.

Another beautiful and energetic song proposed by this talented artist.

The thing I like most about this girl is the enthusiasm and passion she puts into it while she sings her songs. Modern music that uses very popular sound effects.

The guitars push and remind me of the rock/punk of the late 90s.

The lyrics are fun and entertain the listener from the first to the last second and talk about moments of life that we have all lived in our lives.

Darrian is right, we don’t always have to apologize we came to this world not to fit in but to stand out and therefore every now and then it is right to go straight to your own path without carrying that stupid sense of guilt.

A beautiful song and a beautiful message. Keep rocking girl!

Cool and Modern!

Quote: “I wrote “I’m Not Sorry” in 2015, specifically November 22nd 2015 as my notes read. It was during a time where I was going through some confusing heartbreak with a boy I cared deeply about but their feelings weren’t quite as mutual. The first lyrics to the song “21 times I apologized for being mad about the way that you hurt me, you never ever said you were sorry” is kind of the basis for the song.

Those lyrics speak to a time where I was constantly apologizing for things I probably should’ve been getting an apology for. The chorus then bursts into an unapologetic anthem where I take back my power and stop apologizing for things I should have never apologized for. Looking back on this song, it was a time of growing and I realize now that it was a turning point for me in standing up for myself. With a bit of a bratty attitude to the song, I knew I had to make it pop-punk.
