Good Day Noir Family,
It’s Alright? by sammy. /REVERSIES doesn’t waste a second. The track kicks in like a switchblade—sharp, fast, and straight to the point.

Guitars slice through the mix with a metallic precision, and the drums lock into a relentless tempo that grabs hold and refuses to loosen its grip. It feels raw, but polished enough to hit hard without becoming chaotic.

There’s a definite ‘90s DNA running through the arrangement, echoing bands that once thrived in the space between punk and alternative rock. But here, that foundation is given a futuristic edge—partially through production, and especially through language.

The lyrics bounce between English and Japanese, creating an atmosphere that feels half-nightclub, half-cyberpunk dystopia. Picture neon-soaked alleyways and motorbikes slicing through rainy streets—Blade Runner with a distortion pedal.

Then comes a twist: a rap verse delivered by utautau, injecting a pulse of swagger and rhythm into the track. It’s unexpected, and it works. The flow provides a shift in tone without breaking the intensity, adding dimension to an already genre-defying piece.

The real magic is in the contrast. The shimmering crash cymbals glisten like reflections on wet pavement, while the guitars churn below, grounded and gritty. It’s aggressive, futuristic, and full of movement—a perfect storm from an artist who clearly isn’t interested in coloring within any lines.
