E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Jane N’ The Jungle

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Jane N’ The Jungle. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the energy of their music.

As soon as the first notes started to strike my ears I immediately liked the sound of this band and in particular the singer’s voice which has a unique tone, warm and hoarse with an intense rock vein.

The overall sound is powerful and epic and you feel that these guys have spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve this enviable musical understanding.

Beautiful distorted guitars that push incessantly accompanied by a very precise rhythm section where the bass and the kick follow each other like a shadow.

The melodic construction and chord progression are interesting and varied and manage to entertain from the first to the last second.

A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Cool and Powerful!

“Trouble” launches a new era for the band and breaking them out as true rock n’ roll artists.

Jane N’ The Jungle, from Phoenix, AZ, is a force to be reckoned with rock band, lead by female powerhouse vocals.

In 2013, childhood friends Jordan White (lead vox) and Brian Dellis (guitar), began writing songs together. Years later these songs turned into them forming Jane N’ The Jungle.

Dellis is a self-taught guitar player who grew up playing in punk rock bands. Bryan Dague (bass), also known as “Big B”, joined the band in 2018 after recording for “Concrete Jungle” at Gravity Studios in Chicago, IL.

The rock band combo creates a distinctive sound that blends rock ’n’ roll, 90’s alternative and modern rock crediting Heart, Pat Benatar, and Soundgarden as some of their influences.

In 2020 the band gained recognition with their singles “Animal” and “Lucky 7” produced by super Producer/Engineer Chuck Alkazian (Pop Evil, Soundgarden, Tantric) at legendary Pearl Sound Studios (Asking Alexandria, Eminem, Filter).

Jane N’ The Jungle were recently featured on Spotify’s Fierce Femmes, All New Rock and Women of Rock Spotify Radio playlists along with features on Alt Press, Women That Rock, Loud Women, The Hype Magazine, modern rock and alternative radio stations. KOZE, 99.7 The Biltz, KCMQ, KWSS, KFMA, The Dark on FM 94 and more.
