E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Jesse Wilson

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Jesse Wilson. I discovered this artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the vibes of his music.

Upon hearing this intriguing delight, I experienced the same sort of happy, childish surprise that overcomes you when you find three hundred dollars laying on the ground in one of those sketchy alleys in New York City in which old men play chess.

At first, I was not sure, but as the piece progressed, more complexity appeared and stimulated my brain both intellectually and emotionally.

I’m sure you have, at one point, heard somebody refer to a deep, intellectual quote as food for thought. Well, pieces like these are more like dessert for thought. They are relaxing, although not necessarily slow.

That being said, it is completely senseless to try and review or critique this piece, so I will now stop, because life is too short to overlook beautiful simplicities like this, and it’s no use straining for answers from something that was never meant to be questioned at all.

I Wasn’t Prepared is Jesse Wilson’s Single Out Now!

An artist who knows what he’s doing!

Quote: “I am a 24 year old singer-songwriter based in the U.K. and I write and produce songs in an alternative rock/pop style. My style is upbeat with catchy tunes and heartfelt lyrics.

I was taught piano as a kid and then started writing songs on guitar when I was about 16. I’ve always loved composing and songwriting and haven’t stopped creating since. I grew up on 90s music so my influences include Radiohead, Oasis, Muse and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers“.
