Edgar Allan Poets – Noir Rock Band | Jesus' Tears is Coma Beach's Single Out Now
Jesus’ Tears is Coma Beach’s Single Out Now

Good Day Noir Family,
I already reviewed Coma Beach in the past today I want to focus my attention on Jesus’ Tears, a track included in their album The Scapegoat’s Agony.

Jesus’ Tears is Coma Beach’s Single Out Now

The thing I like most about this band is that the lyrics are deep and poetic.

They are inspired by the great poets of the past and it is rare for a band to have this kind of culture.

Punk rock songs are usually accompanied by very superficial lyrics… with Coma Beach instead lyrics are a focal point of their musical vision.

The words of Jesus’ Tears are so well written that you feel like you are there with the man on the cross. You see those blue eyes that are the last thing he saw in his earthly life. Above all, you can feel his hatred and desire for revenge.

Coma Beach produce quality music that is coherent, sincere, and direct.

The sound has 80s references but the compositional approach is modern. The singer’s voice is wild and unique and adds charm to the sound of this amazing band.

“Jesus’ Tears” is track #7 from Coma Beach’s album “The Scapegoat’s Agony”. The album title is an allusion to the play “Waiting for Godot” by Irish playwright and novelist Samuel Beckett and points towards the – for the most part – painful and excruciating emotional odyssey of the unnamed antihero.

Synopsis for “Jesus’ Tears”:
In his delirious state of madness, the unnamed antihero suffers through a Christ-like crucifixion, vowing to avenge himself on those he deems responsible for his suffering.
