E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Jim Capaldi

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Jim Capaldi. I stumble upon this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I did not know that the music of this iconic Artist was available on the digital platforms.

What a great leap into the past I took while listening to the music of this great artist.

Pushing the play button was like opening a drawer and finding some old, yellowed polaroids.
Magical memories of past adventures come flooding back.

Those beautiful atmospheres of the ’70s when people used to dress in bellbottoms when love was easy and free, LSD was spinning and people were always out in groups talking.

Today that reality has never been so far away but fortunately, this record is a breath of fresh air and a window of hope in a world that is slowly dying.

The music of this artist is therapeutic especially nowadays and it’s great that finally, these beautiful songs are available to everyone on all digital platforms.

This is real music, made by real musicians who had to know how to play to make a record. The technology was much less magnanimous… not like today where you can fix everything in post production.

These melodies moved me because I breathed the air of those days without ever having lived it.

A priceless thrill that I recommend everyone to experience.

Short Cut Draw Blood is Jim Capaldi’s masterpiece album, which is finally available for the first time on all streaming and download platforms worldwide.

A dip in the past, a dip in the heart!
