E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Jimmy Eff

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Jimmy Eff. I discovered this Duo while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the vibes of their music.

Already from the first seconds I realized that I was in front of a great songwriter.

A compositional style that recalls the great rock of the 70s. An engaging sound where the impeccable singing interpretation and the unique vocal timbre make you believe in the words of the lyrics.

The chord progression is never banal and obvious and manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.

We feel that Jimmy and Jonny have been working together a long time to achieve such an enviable sound understanding.

Their new single talks about important and profound issues and tries to give hope to people who have lost the will to live. A therapeutic song that we hope will help many people.

You’re Not Alone is Jimmy Eff’s Single Out Now!

Intense!

Jimmy is a West Midlands, UK based indie-folk artist who writes and sings upbeat songs with a melancholy edge. Jimmy is primarily a guitarist and vocalist, and along with Jonny K, has recorded and released a debut EP in 2013 called “The Road EP” and a single Tea With The Queen in 2016.

Jimmy and Jonny have been recording and mixing their latest EP which will be released in Autumn 2021 which contains lead single “You’re Not Alone”.

You’re Not Alone” was written after a close friend took an overdose, in an attempt to take his own life, after suffering with severe anxiety. He’s not alone, suicide rates among men are ridiculously high. All because of a silly notion “man up”. “You’re Not Alone” is a song to anyone struggling – there is always someone out there to talk to“.
