our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to JP2. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked his way of composing music.
As soon as I pressed the play button I was immediately intrigued by the sound proposed by this artist and his compositional style.
A way of composing music that looks to the past but at the same time manages to be modern.
We are faced with a great musician who does not like to do simple things but who ventures into intricate rhythmic and melodic “games”.
The chord progression is never predictable and banal and manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
The production is professional and the mix leaves the right space for each sound element.
JP2 keeps every little nuance under control and this attention to detail helps to create this quality product.

Refined and Intricate!
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, JP2 moved to Orlando, FL in 2001 in search of akin musical minds with which to bring his muses to life. He was a founding member of Runnin Blind, Over The Radar and took part in an early adaptation of Alphæus. He also collaborated on several compositions for the University of Central Florida.
