E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – KIND BEAST

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to KIND BEAST. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their ability to build the songs.

As soon as I hit the play button, I immediately liked the refined rhythm of this band’s songs.

A really interesting chord progression enriched by continuous twists and harmonic variations makes this musical product very fascinating.

The beautiful singer’s voice with his warm and immediately recognizable timbre distinguishes, even more, the sound of this talented band.

I liked the sounds in general, all the instruments are real and bring with them the nuances of music played live.

The snare drum speaks every time it’s hit by the drummer’s stick and is followed like a shadow by the bassist who doesn’t miss a beat.

The guitars are also very beautiful with their slightly distorted and acid sounds that help to give the right energy to their songs.

A nice discovery that I absolutely recommend.

Endless Virtue is KIND BEAST’s Ep Out Now!

Mature band, refined music!

KIND BEAST plays a nocturnal brand of rock n’ roll designed, in particular, for late-night freedom cruising, especially into stranger environs. Guitarist/vocalist/author Sean Madigan Hoen and drummer Dan Jaquint had been collaborating for years in White Gold Scorpio, a lo-fi recording project exploring similar noir themes.

When Sean moved back to Detroit after twelve years in New York, he and Jaquint quickly enlisted guitarist/recording engineer Erik Maluchnik, who’s atmospheric approach to melody changed their sound enough to warrant a new name. Bassist Tom Currie joined and KIND BEAST played their first shows in the fall of 2019.
