Leo Nazz Self-Titled Ep is Out Now

Good Day Noir Family,
welcome to Edgar Allan Poets indie music corner. A space dedicated to the best new artists and bands we find around the web. Today’s featured artist is Leo Nazz and his self-titled Ep.

Leo Nazz Self-Titled Ep is Out Now

Surely we are dealing with a great songwriter. An artist who managed to mix poetry with music.

I liked the “ethnic and medieval” vibes of his music that somehow manage to make disappear the reality that you have in front of your eyes and transport you to distant and fantastic parallel worlds.

Leo Nazz is inspired by traditional music, that of the pioneers. When people gathered around the fire to distract themselves after a hard day of work.

These songs seem to bring with them an ancestral cry, distant stories that have come to us carried by the wind.
All the songs contained in this Ep are solid and mature.

I have listened to the Ep several times and I advise everyone to do so in order to immerse yourself completely in the sound universe created by this artist.

Leo Nazz with his music is able to speak directly to the heart and soul of the listener.

A great find that I recommend to everyone.

Intense!

Leo Nazz Self-Titled Ep is Out Now

The self-titled debut EP is a true reflection of Nazz as a person and an artist as his vulnerability through emotive writing, imagery and honest vocals is truly captivating. As the EP explores personal and emotional topics, the smooth guitars and soothing harmonica bring comfort as we are invited to listen to Nazz’s journey.

The five-track EP features two new singles ‘late summer night phone calls’ and ‘white noise’ plus a bonus track, ‘I don’t mind,’ an emotional monologue to a loved one. The demo was written in his home and is a beautiful ode to end the record.

Five years in the making: reflecting on putting together his debut EP, Nazz reveals that the record is a collection of old and new music. Spanning years and continents, these songs reflect Leo’s life as it’s been unfolding and explore experiences that have shaped who he is today.

This EP is a significant milestone for me as an independent artist. It’s such a learning experience, makes me feel quite proud actually for having made it this far in my artistic journey.” – Leo Nazz.
