Little Big House is Heyzeus’ Single Out Now

Good Day Noir Family,
From the moment the first chords of “Little Big House” hit, there’s a raw energy that pulls you straight into Heyzeus’ world—a space where ‘90s grit meets modern indie grit.

Little Big House is Heyzeus’ Single Out Now

This tune from the genre-blending duo—Jamie Andrew (vocals/guitar) and Jessica Drummer (drums/background vocals)—feels like flipping through the pages of a forgotten grunge zine while staring at the cliffs of Dover.

Written during their travels busking around the globe (what they call The Great Big Busk), and eventually recorded in a shack in Cleveland, Australia, the track holds onto the restless spirit of the road.

There’s a clear nod to the likes of Nirvana and early Alice In Chains in the stripped-down instrumentation, but Heyzeus adds a shadowy melancholy that leans closer to Staind or even Soundgarden at their most reflective.

Jessica’s drumming doesn’t just provide the backbone—it’s a vital force. She’s tight, aggressive, but never overwhelming, adding a groove that contrasts nicely with Jamie’s hoarse, weathered vocal delivery.

There’s something vulnerable in his voice, slightly rough around the edges, channeling emotional weight without falling into cliché.

What makes “Little Big House” stand out is the duo’s chemistry. They manage to mesh influences without sounding derivative. There’s a paranoia to the track—paranoia dressed up in dandy jackets and boots dragging across windswept English beaches, as seen in their moody music video.

The aesthetic is on point: slightly androgynous, a little glam, a lot grunge. Their fashion feels intentional—another layer in their artistic vision. The video, with its mossy rocks and untamed coastlines, underscores the song’s sense of dislocation and memory.

Heyzeus isn’t here to chase pop hooks or polished formulas. They’re channeling something more underground, more lived-in. And “Little Big House” feels like just the first chapter of a story that deserves to be followed.

Heyzeus is the genre-smashing rock duo of powerhouse drummer Jessica Drummer and singer-guitarist Jamie Andrew. Blending the raw punch of Nirvana, the funk-rock of Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the lyrical grit of Stereophonics, they deliver DIY alt-rock with edge and heart. Their latest single, “Little Big House,” was born during The Great Big Busk—a two-year journey busking and hitchhiking around the world.

Completely self-taught, Jess is now one of the most-followed female drummers online, with 60+ million views and major brand collaborations. Jamie, a former The Voice UK contestant (Team Tom Jones), brings soulful vocals and stories from the road. Together, they’ve built a global following from scratch—just a guitar, a mini drum kit, and unshakable drive.
