Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to M-ROCK & WEFUNKY BAND. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and liked the vibes of their music.
As soon as I hit the play button and started listening to this wonderful music, I got into good mood mode…I felt the groove!
A psychedelic funky that manages to make you forget about everyday problems and takes you to a parallel universe made of joy and good vibes.
We are certainly dealing with highly experienced musicians. The kick follows the intricate melodic lines of the bass like a shadow while the winds and the guitars create a thousand nuances, coloring this music like a rainbow.
The thing I liked the most is that these guys have fun while playing and I envied them because I would have liked to be there dancing with them in the Cashbah Club.
A musical project that I recommend to everyone, cheerful but not at all banal and obvious music.

The track is inspired by our numerous trips to London’s club scene, and also listening to Pfunk, Trouble Funk, go-go funk from Washington DC. Club Cashbah was one hell of a club, started by legends Sinclair and DJ Cosmic together with M-Rock Emrik – positive integration, people from all around the world, young and old – the funk braksläpp! The track features their percussion player and rapper from Chile: Gonzo Reyes
