Edgar Allan Poets – Noir Rock Band | Maiden Mother Crone is The Birdman Cult's Single Out Now
Maiden, Mother, Crone is The Birdman Cult’s Single Out Now

Good Day Noir Family,
women have always fascinated artists of all ages and obviously also The Birdman Cult could not remain indifferent to the divine charm of women.

Maiden, Mother, Crone is The Birdman Cult’s Single Out Now

This alternative, dark, and intense sound made me think of artists like Alice Cooper.

An impeccably constructed song, with original rhythmic variations and deep lyrics.

The rhythm is pressing and the vocal line expecially in the verses leaves the singer almost no time to breathe. The sound is acid and sounds a bit vintage adding a touch of charm to the tune.

The vocal delivery reminded me of 80’s punk singers.

As usual, The Birdman Cult have managed to extrapolate the juice of different genres and make it into a unique musical cocktail.
The melodic line is very catchy and I’m sure it will echo in my head for a long time.

Another beautiful song from a band that never ceases to amaze me.

Maiden, Mother, Crone is The Birdman Cult’s Single Out Now!

Vintage and Intense!

Maiden, Mother, Crone is The Birdman Cult’s Single Out Now

“…Each verse is a dedication to the women in my life. Being a Son, Husband and recently new Father had me reflecting on my relationships with my Mother, daughter and wife, what they mean to me and witnessing three stages of female roles from the standpoint of the male in thier lives. These three figures are often described as the Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone in common Neopagan usage. Each of which symbolises a separate stage in the female life cycle.”
