The sound of this band is characterized by the unique timbre of the singer’s voice.
A voice that made me think of the 80s with really interesting soul nuances and slight hoarseness that also makes it rock.
The Victory’s music is refined, surely we are faced with musicians with a great musical experience behind them.
The chord progression of Making Some Music is refined and the dynamics are impeccably studied in order to keep the listener glued to the speakers.
The performance by all band members is flawless. The production is excellent.
A song that exudes the Irish passion for making music.
The Victory are a great band that I recommend everyone to go listen to.

Refined and Intense
The Band formed in 2020 beginning as a solo project for Shane. We had a rehearsal room and just become going through songs and eventually coming up with a name, The Victory. We played some headline shows in Dublin City at The Workmans Club. We played support at The Olympia Theatre in Dublin to The Last Waltz Live.
The song is about having a voice, speaking about the things you see as an artist and expressing them to the world. The song is about that duty we have to the world as songwriters to aim to inspire, to capture history for others to read about in the future and to do it with music that at least fills yourself with satisfaction band hopefully others. Writing a song is extremely personal and this song explores the reason why we do it at all…
