our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Matt Saxton. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I was fascinated by his music.
The sound of this artist is very interesting and refined.
A direct rock that takes its cue from the past but manages to be modern at the same time.
Matt Saxton’s voice is fascinating, with a deep vocal timbre that manages to speak directly to the listener’s heart and soul.
The new single Tonight is a nostalgic ballad that manages to make you fly with your imagination. As I was listening to this beautiful melody, I saw myself driving aimlessly through the English countryside on a rainy day, one of those days when you want to be alone.
The production is good and in particular the mix that leaves the right space for each sound element.
A mature artist with great compositional experience behind him, you can feel that from the quality of his artistic intuitions.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.
