Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Moxy One. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the vibes of their music.
As soon as I hit the play button this band’s music put me in a good mood.
From the first chords, I immediately thought of the Beatles for those melodies a bit vintage but wisely dropped in a modern and fresh production.
I really liked the voice that reminded me of Chris Martin from Cold Play.
Beautiful arrangements of the guitars that with their sound a bit acid can give a fascinating nuance to the music of this talented band.
The drums push incessantly from the beginning to the end accompanied by the bass. The rhythm section has an enviable musical understanding and gives the song the right groove.
The chord progression is beautiful and even if it remains simple manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second with the right variations at the right time.
Never Break Up is Moxy One’s Single Out Now!
Nice fresh and effective sound!
Anyone missing indie dance floors can take solace in Bristol based outfit?
MOXY ONE’s front man Mike Chancellor chronicles the highs and lows of a long term relationship over bright guitars and a Bowie bass line. The track’s live-action dynamics make ‘Never Break Up’ an infectious slice of British guitar pop.
Edgar Allan Poets is a noir rock band built on the literary universe of Edgar Allan Poe.
For over a decade the band has explored Poe's psychology, Gothic aesthetics,
Victorian darkness, and his influence on modern culture — through music, writing,
and this archive. Their album 555 and store collections translate Poe's darkest
visions into sound and design.
