Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Mystik Fool. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I was intrigued by their music.
The vibrations created by this band’s music immediately fascinated me.
A style that reminded me in some moments of Bob Marley and in others Blind Melon, a sound capable of mixing different genres and making them coexist together in a perfect balance.
It feels like these guys spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve this enviable musical chemistry.
The production is perfect, especially the mix that leaves the right space for each sound element and the song breathes well.
We are faced with great musicians who offer never predictable and banal music that manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
Go and listen to them, it is worth it.
I’m On My Way is Mystik Fool’s Single Out Now!
They formed in 2016 by brothers Galen (vocals) & Simon Deery (Bass) and launched when drummer Michael Lear and guitarist Will Coccia joined in 2018. Their music comes from the experiences of Galen’s teenage years seeking something different early on in life. Their self-proclaimed genre, “Spirit Jam”, has come due to the surplus of styles coming together from Medicine music to Jazz, from Pop to Reggae, from Ambience to Rock. With all of these influences, Mystik Fool brings a message and a prayer to reintroduce a seemingly lost idea of living through love and community. They travel all across the US as activists as well.
