E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Namsakē
Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Namsakē. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their way of composing music.
The sound of this band hides something fascinating. As soon as I pressed the play button I was immediately struck by the melody proposed, nostalgic and full of emotions that manage to reach the listener’s heart and soul.
This band has a lot of influences and it feels like they are inspired by a way of composing music from the past.
In their sound I heard nuances of the Cure mixed with the punk of Bad Religion, especially the singer’s voice reminded me of Greg Graffin’s.
They propose themselves to the world with this demo, in my opinion the slightly raw sound is perfect for their genre and I hope that in the future even when they’ll do official productions they can keep this rough sound that oozes blood and sweat.
A direct rock without strings attached that I recommend to everyone.

Namsakē are a five piece Post-Emo Punk band from London; conceived at Falmouth University, providing an energetic rhythm section coupled with ethereal instrumental layering, punchy choruses and melodic vocals.
