our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Norrisette. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I was bewitched by her music.
Are you ready to be transported into a fairy world accompanied by a unique, ethereal and magical voice?
This music literally makes you travel, I immediately closed my eyes and I took Norrisette’s hand and let myself be guided into her universe.
I have flown over yellow-colored forests, I have seen waterfalls crash into the ocean, I have seen wild horses galloping into the sunset.
I cried watching the sun rise!
This music made my soul and my heart vibrate, I got very excited and in the end I felt the need to inhale and then slowly exhale all the emotions I felt while listening to the magical music of this incredible artist.
A marvelous find, a gem and I became a fan of her instantly.

There are two Norrisettes: the ultra-social pop DJ, and the weird little gremlin hiding in your attic.
Norrisette is a singer-songwriter, composer and producer based in Stockport, Greater Manchester, UK. She writes and performs ethereal electronic songs with feverish commitment to a different idea each time.
Norrisette makes concept EPs, including ‘Alien’ (a journey from outer space through the solar system, gradually approaching Earth) and ‘Paper’ (a journey into the second dimension). She also makes her own artwork and music videos and does live experimental DJ sessions using homemade beats and improvised vocal loops.
Norrisette is influenced by Kate Bush, TOKiMONSTA, Imogen Heap, James Blake, Billie Eilish, FKA Twigs, Laurie Anderson and Bjork. She has collaborated with Italian producer Eileen Noise and British producer Hectic and has been featured on Instagram Live sessions with Mar Vista Art Walk in Los Angeles and Kele Fleming in British Columbia. She was special guest on an episode of Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Them with DJ Shabbee Chic on Spotify, has been featured on Phoenix FM, and regularly does live DJ sessions on Instagram. Norrisette has been featured in Right Chord Music, Muzique Magazine and Dancing About Architecture.
