Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Old Friends. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the mood of their music.
Certainly, we are faced with a very talented band that is able to amaze for the great eclecticism.
I really liked the voice with that slight hoarseness that makes it very rock.
A psychedelic rock that in some moments reminded me of Grant Lee Buffalo.
The voice is often left inside the mix, and it so reverberated to create a mysterious and magic atmosphere.
I really liked the guitars, especially the distorted ones, with that fuzzy sound that is not overly distorted, in my opinion, perfect for this genre.
The chord progression is very interesting and manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second with beautiful variations inserted at the right time.
A band to keep an eye on because these guys seem to have clear ideas on how to propose themselves to the masses.

Old Friends is an indie rock band from South Jersey. Led by Nick Noto (lead vocals and guitars) accompanied by Anthony Keller (Drums) and Victor Sabatino (producer).
Noto’s vocals and swaying guitar riffs bring chills to your body, yet can be quite calming. Inspired by the likes of Alex G and Iron and Wine, Noto brings his own flair of Indie Rock to the Tri-State Area.
