E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Old Man Soul Club

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Old Man Soul Club. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their unique way of creating songs.

The sound of this band is very original, it hit me right away.

Actually reading the name of the band I expected something more classic and instead, I found myself in front of a modern sound and a unique and fascinating compositional style.

In some passages, the chord progression reminded me of Beck but in a more modern key.

This music has the power to hypnotize the listener with a very engaging rhythmic cadence, slightly psychedelic that manage to make you travel with the imagination.

The production is interesting, a little rough but in my opinion perfect for the genre, I liked that the overall sound is a bit “acid”.

A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.
