What sets this band apart is the addition of a female voice, injecting a unique quality into the music. The result is a direct and intense sonic experience with an unapologetic edge.

The music of Goddamn Wolves is unfiltered, raw, and slightly acidic, offering a genuine and authentic sound.

The hoarse vocals of the male singer contribute a powerful energy, while the female voice interjects with an intriguing and ethereal touch, creating a distinctive aura around the song.

The seamless blend of voices and the burdenless instrumentation suggest a band that has spent considerable time honing their craft in the rehearsal room.

The enviable alchemy achieved by Goddamn Wolves is evident in the solid composition of “Older, Slower”.

With a sound that stands out as unique and powerful, Goddamn Wolves are poised for success.

Energetic!

Formed in 2018, Raleigh band Goddamn Wolves bonded over their shared affinity for melodic indie rock that kicks ass but always has a hook.

Led by songwriter Chris Weilding (formerly of Hedwig and the Angry Inch band Cheater) on guitar/vocals, the trio also includes Los Angeles transplant Laura McCullough (bass/vocals), and Drew Foglia (drums/vocals).

The Wolves spent their first couple of years working up a set of original material, playing local clubs and recording two EP’s — Goddamn Wolves and Dauphine. During its COVID-19 downtime the band collaborated on new material remotely using GarageBand and recorded a series of songs entitled The Quarantine Demos.

Goddamn Wolves’ new EP Resign Yourself was recorded and mixed at Mitch Easter’s Fidelitorium Recordings in Kernersville, North Carolina. The band recorded with engineer Missy Thangs, whose credits include Ex Hex, H.C. McEntire, Pie Face Girls, and more.

With COVID-19 on the wane, Goddamn Wolves have begun booking shows and are looking forward to playing live again after a two-year break. See you around the clubs!
