our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Paponeireau. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked his unique way of composing music.
An atmospheric and sweet journey to rediscover ourselves. A hypnotic sound that speaks directly to the soul and heart.
I got lost in the music proposed by this artist, I closed my eyes and I began to travel in a timeless space.
The opposites united and “the end” and “the infinite” kissed in an eternal moment that did not last long.
A unique compositional approach, music that hides something mysteriously fascinating and that perhaps makes us discover something we didn’t know about ourselves.
Try to listen to it and you will understand something that you may not have known.

Paponeireau is the name violinist Shawn Fisher chose for his solo project when he moved to the Selkirk Mountains of British Columbia. The symphonic ambient-folk sounds of Paponeireau invite listeners to feel and let go of everything that weighs heavy on the heart.
Much like Fisher’s main influence, Andrew Bird, he uses his violin and a looping pedal to improvise a variety of intricately textured songs and meditative soundscapes.
