our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Pete Kavanagh. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked his style a lot.
The atmosphere of the music created by this artist is very fascinating, the thing that makes it unique and magical is Pete’s voice.
An unmistakable warm and deep vocal timbre, sometimes slightly trembling that makes his interpretation almost hypnotic.
His new single Mercy is fantastic, a cadence that takes you into the groove and you find yourself moving your neck to the beat of the music.
A paranoid melodic line that hides a secret, I was literally bewitched by this compositional style.
An artist of sure talent who has a uniquely original style. In some moments the chord progression and harmonic intuitions reminded me of Radiohead.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

With evocative lyrics and wry wit, Pete explores dark themes in his songs.
