Edgar Allan Poets – Noir Rock Band | Phantom Is Songs For Sabotage's Single Out Now
Phantom Is Songs For Sabotage’s Single Out Now

Good Day Noir Family,
I already reviewed Songs For Sabotage in the past but they are out now with a new single and I want to share my opinion about it.

Once again I was fascinated by the sound of this band. Their sinuous and mysterious style literally makes me fly.

The thing I like most is the airiness of their productions. Hypnotic sounds accompanied by a voice that has the ability to reach and speak directly to your heart.

The harmonic lines hide something nostalgic and suddenly I saw myself driving my convertible through the deserted streets of Los Angeles in the middle of the night one of those days when you want to be alone with yourself and you just wander around in search of answers that probably will never arrive.

The production is always excellent and the mix adds breadth to the whole song, leaving the right space for each sound element.

They reconfirm themselves as a great Duo.

Pure Magic!

Quote: “Phantom was inspired by two people we once knew – our former selves,” says front-woman/guitarist Lina Sophie, “…the lyrics are pulled directly from past traumas that were a result of toxic partnerships we both found ourselves in.”

Musical director/guitarist Richey Rose adds, “Phantom describes the moment you realize the relationship doesn’t serve anything, and you’ve essentially trapped yourself. The lightbulb’s gone off and you’re like, ‘okay, I need to GTFO now!’ … from that second on it’s about leaving the past behind, both physically and mentally.
