E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Pochenski
Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Pochenski. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their style.
The sound produced by this band is very interesting a way of composing music that recalls compositional methods of the late 90s.
Their sound reminded me of U2, the emphasis with which the singer interprets the lyrics made me think of Bono.
A very melodic and well-structured music, you feel that these guys have spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to find such an enviable musical understanding.
The production is excellent and keeps every little nuance under control, the guitars are airy and magical and the drums push incessantly from start to finish.
The chord progression is never predictable and banal and entertains the listeners from the first to the last second.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Formed in 2019, the band comprises Dan Pye (Guitar and Vocals), Kieran Joyce (Bass and Vocals) and George Coleman (Drums).
