Poison Oak’s New Ep Out Now!

Good Day Noir Family,
we already reviewed the music of Poison Oak in the past but now they are out with their new Ep “1996” and I want to share my opinion about it.

The first Poison Oak song we talked about on our site has been “Sarah”and you can read what we wrote about it here

Right away, this band’s sound struck me because I can hear the passion of the people playing it oozing out of the notes.

The band has spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to be able to find such an enviable musical understanding and create this unique style that sets them apart.

Poison Oak’s music is inspired by the great rock of the past, the chord progression is never trivial and the harmonic intuitions are able to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.

These guys also manage to be modern and the strength of their sound is just this ambivalence between past and modern that meet right under the Poison Oak.

1996 is Poison Oak’s Single Ep Now!

A beautiful Ep to listen to all in one breath!

In October Poison Oak released their first single “Waiting” from their upcoming EP, “1996”. Waiting received multiple features and reviews in magazines throughout Australian and around the globe.

Happy Magazine described Poison Oak’s new single as “hitting a pub rock bullseye”. While Amnplify’s Laura Hughes described Waiting, as “Poison Oak has written another catchy tune to get you through the week”.
