Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to RAT BATH. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their way of composing music.
This band is really interesting. These guys offer a unique, sinister, and twilight sound.
I really liked the “raw” approach and the creative freedom of RAT BATH who mix various musical genres in their songs. Their sound recipe includes a bit of punk, rock, avant-garde that mixed together create an innovative genre.
It feels like these guys have spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such an enviable sound understanding.
Surely we are faced with a talented band that just needs to refine a little but that already composes fantastic songs.
Of the two songs proposed in this Ep ‘Sweet Puppet’ excited me the most. The singer’s voice is fantastic and the song grows very well… I believe that this song is a masterpiece.
‘Meat Poppet’ is also beautiful and you feel how eclectic this band is in their compositional approach.
Band to keep under the radar because these guys are talented!
