REMOTION is DAAVRIL’s Ep Out Now

Good Day Noir Family,
Prepare to be entertained by the otherworldly vocals of DAAVRIL on his stunning new EP, “REMOTION.”

REMOTION is DAAVRIL’s Ep Out Now

His voice is an instrument, soaring to “paradisiacal heights” with an ethereal quality that instantly hooks you in.

I felt hints of Sting’s influence weave through his vocal phrasing.

DAAVRIL’s songwriting is very interesting. His arrangements are meticulously crafted, showcasing a refined approach that blends alternative and pop rock.

Fans of Muse and Coldplay will find familiar territory here, with a modern twist that feels distinctly DAAVRIL’s own.

The inclusion of French tracks like “Cristallin” and “Les Souvenirs Perdue” adds a touch of international flair to the EP.

The beauty of the French language perfectly complements DAAVRIL’s ethereal vocals, further enhancing the overall experience.

But “REMOTION” is more than just beautiful sounds. The song “Rebellion” stands out with its powerful chord progressions and a melody that resonates deeply.

Throughout the EP, the masterful use of keyboards paints a vivid musical universe. These shimmering textures create a sense of futurism, perfectly complementing the ethereal mood.

DAAVRIL is a true talent to watch, with a sound that is innovative and refined.

Starting at the age of 13, DAAVRIL began learning classical piano at a conservatory. Driven by a passion for Depeche Mode and electronic music, he delved into music composition at 19 and joined a band as a keyboardist, with which he would sign a single under the Mute-Virgin label.

Following a series of concerts in France (including a spot as the opening act for Erasure) and internationally, the group disbanded due to artistic differences. In 2005, he formed a new pop-rock band that produced two albums and performed at about fifty venues, including live acoustic performances on television and radio. After a decade-long musical hiatus, he rediscovered his inspiration and created ten unique tracks for his debut album.
