our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Rogue Proxy. I discovered this Duo while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their unique style.
I was immediately intrigued by the compositional style of this duo.
At first listen it reminded me of the Red Hot Chilly Peppers mixed with the Beatles, a unique style that I honestly had never heard.
It is difficult to find something similar, in my opinion, these guys have created something unique that has many influences but not one in particular.
The chord progression is never banal and obvious and entertains the listener from the first to the last second.
The production is very good and the mix in particular leaves the right space for each sound element and the song breathes well.
A nice discovery that I recommend to all people looking for something different and innovative.
