our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Rye Catchers. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their elegant sound.
The first adjective that came to my mind while listening to the music of this band is refined.
The sought-after harmonic details made me think of Jamiroquai mixed with the Dave Matthews Band.
The band plays flawlessly, the bass moves sinuously without missing a beat of the kick. The voice with its high and ethereal timbre distinguishes, even more, the sound of this talented band.
The chord progression is never banal and obvious and manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
Excellent production and mix that leaves the right space for each sound element and the song breathes well.
