Good Day Noir Family,
When Ari Joshua’s name is involved, there’s always a certain expectation for musical depth and a sharp attention to detail.
Saturday Sessions is The All’s Eye’s Ep Out Now
That expectation is met once again with Saturday Sessions, a vibrant, joyful EP that radiates the kind of energy you’d hope to bottle up and keep on standby for rough days.
Opening track “Gramama” bursts through the speakers like a mischievous cousin crashing a family reunion. It’s playful and rhythmically agile, evoking scenes of dusty roads and backwoods hootenannies, much in the spirit of something the Coen Brothers might soundtrack. The instruments feel alive, picking, bouncing, nudging each other as if in conversation. Ari Joshua’s guitar leads the charge, delivering riffs that slice through the mix with purpose, all groove and grit.
Kris Yunker’s organ solo adds fire, rich, expressive, and just wild enough to steal your breath. And Ben Atkind’s drumming? Relentless in the best way. His patterns hop and skip with such a natural feel that you can’t help but want to move with them. There’s a joy here that’s undeniable.
Then comes “SWYWS (Say What You Wanna Say),” dialling back the Americana and leaning into a funkier, looser groove. It’s less barn and more back alley jam, showing off another angle of the band’s versatility. Despite the shift, the two tracks sit together comfortably—each part of a larger picture painted with enthusiasm and spontaneity.
What shines through in Saturday Sessions is the chemistry. You get the sense that these musicians aren’t just playing notes—they’re sharing jokes, locking eyes, pushing each other in real time. That’s the kind of spark that can’t be faked. It feels like a jam session that turned into something more without anyone having to say it aloud.
This EP is a boost of musical sunshine. Perfect for mornings when you need a reason to smile, dance, or just feel human again.

Revitalizing!
The All’s Eye is an electrifying trio featuring guitarist Ari Joshua, drummer Ben Atkind, and organist Kris Yunker. Their latest release, captured live at Barbershop Studios for Emmy-winning producer Matt Rifino’s Saturday Sessions, showcases raw, analog energy with soulful grooves, psychedelic textures, and fearless improvisation. Featuring bold live takes of Ari Joshua’s originals “Gramama” and “Say What You Wanna Say,” the session was recorded in one take with minimal overdubs and paired with cinematic multi-camera footage. As they prepare for a run of East Coast shows this spring, a studio version of “Say What You Wanna Say” is set to drop on May 9, 2025.
