E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Sespool

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Sespool. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the uniqueness of his compositional style.

This artist presents himself to the world with an innovative and modern sound.

From the very first notes I noticed the strong personality of this eclectic artist.

His music is inspired by many different genres that have been skillfully blended into a unique recipe. This artist is free in his compositional style and tries to follow musical paths never traveled before.

The musical ingredients are inspired by Pop, Edm, Trap, Rock, Hard rock sometimes even Metal…an incredible mix of styles, and you are left speechless about how Sespool has managed to make such different genres coexist together in his songs.

His first Ep ‘The Moon is All There’s Left To Kill’ is a very coherent and experimental work that tries to provoke the listener by making it clear that the evolution of music is not over yet and indeed it is experiencing a new beginning.

A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

The Moon is All There’s Left To Kill is Sespool’s Ep Out Now!

SESPOOL is the stage name of San Francisco based singer, songwriter, and producer Sean E. After a decade in the Bay Area indie rock scene, most notably as the bassist of alt folk trio Rin Tin Tiger, he released his first solo full length album “(this love is) eternal” independently in July of 2019.

Sean E’s melancholic lyrics float in and out of synth-drenched soundscapes lead by hard hitting bass-heavy grooves and guitar. SESPOOL’s new EP “The moon is all there’s left to kill” is out now, combining elements dream pop, alternative rock, and metal into one dark and unforgettable experience.
